Roberto Coin is an Italian jewelry designer of great international renown.
 
He started his company in 1977 creating for other names, and then founded Roberto Coin as a design house in 1996.  It has grown into an internationally acclaimed jeweler whose creations are available in most of the finest retailers in the world. 
 
His designs range from simple, like this 18kt gold chain link bracelet, to quite over the top with other jewelry designs. 
 
One of his conceits is the signing of each piece with a small ruby on the inside against the wearer’s skin. This is a nod to the ancient Egyptian belief that rubies bring good health and fortune to the wearer.
 
This particular bracelet is wrought from 18kt and is a statement unto itself. It is quite simply superb.
