Bedat & Co. No.3 Stainless Steel and 1.24 CTW Diamond Quartz Wristwatch
 
I have been on rather a splurge of Bedat purchases lately. To be honest I am rather a fan of the brand, as young as it is in Swiss watchmaking terms.
 
One of my all-time favourite ladies watches is the Bedat 33, which is a pinnacle timepiece, but there is a lot to be said for all the other numbers in their collections.
 
This Bedat Number 3 is a great design although it does stump me a bit as I already acquired a Bedat Number 3 which looks nothing like this one. The two are very different but neither is the superior of the other.  This one has a certain evening elegance about it that the other lacks. I guess it is the diamond framing around the elegant roman numeral face which still bears the signature Arabic 8 oclock mark, a mainstay of the watchmaker.
 
Yes, I am now collapsing into cliché, Elegant and Timeless, and shouldn’t a fine watch be nothing less?
