Baume & Mercier Riviera 18K Gold and Stainless Steel Quartz Wristwatch
 
I rarely deal in quartz watches, which I admit could be construed as a bit of retro snobbery.
That said, yes they do require less maintenance than auto- or windup, and they do keep the time far more accurately.
 
Mind you, quartz or not, some watch designs are just too good to pass up, and this is one of them.
 
I became a fan of Baume and Mercier since buying a 1948 B and M a couple of years ago, and so I do pause to look at them all, even if they are quartz.
 
This is one of those -- one I just could not pass up. Beautiful, elegant, and affordable. As good-looking as many far more expensive timepieces, and one that will not demand constant winding or setting if, like me, you have a lot of watches and wear them infrequently.

In-house warranty will be voided if the watch is serviced by another party. The warranty start date will be from the day received.
