The Bedat Number 33 is an exercise in simple beauty.
The Bedat Company was founded in 1996 by Simone and Christian Bedat. Their years of combined experience inside the Swiss luxury watch industry coalesced into their own luxury watch company, aimed primarily at the women’s market.
The Number 33 is a major accomplishment in design and elegance, and epitomizes the height of Swiss watchmaking and design. This No.33 is 18Kt gold with diamond embellishments and weighs 141.60 grams.
The diamonds are of excellent quality being G-H in colour and VS1 and VS2 in clarity.
The watch itself can be reversed on its bracelet to give a new look, although I don’t know if you would ever really want to hide such a little masterpiece.
Words actually fail and pictures do tell most of the story, but it is not until you hold this watch in your hand that you realize what a significant piece of jewellery it is. I wish they made a version of the No. 33 for men. Alas you men will have to enjoy it secondhand.
